As a resourceful, detail-oriented Senior Designer, I work to ensure a high level of creativity and quality across the studio. Staying on the pulse of design, art, 3D, VR, AI, and retail trends, making sure we get (cool) shit done and grow as a studio. I am actively invested in the success and progression of all of our projects.

I specialize in crafting immersive brand experiences and compelling product narratives. With a background in both physical and digital design, my work spans experiential builds, pop-ups, and retail spaces, as well as high-fidelity 3D renderings, animations, and marketing assets for video and print.

At Studio Butch I’ve collaborated with leading brands such as Nike, Athleta, Ford, Delta Airlines, Stumptown Coffee, LeSportsac, Lincoln Motors and more bringing strategic design thinking to projects that blend functionality, storytelling, and aesthetic impact. My expertise in 3D modeling, digital design, and 3D production strategies like CNC programming allows me to develop precise, production-ready designs that seamlessly transition from concept to reality.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and create visually appealing and innovative designs for various clients across multiple industries utilizing Blender, Rhino, AutoCAD, Three.js, 3DS MAX, Augmented Reality and more.

  • Create renderings to match the visual identity and brand standards of our clients.

  • Design and produce different materials for digital, print, and mixed media elements.

  • Ensure that all designs are on-brand and consistent with the organization's style and messaging.

  • Stay updated on design trends, industry practices, and emerging technologies.

  • Work closely with the Project Team to combine client requests, design concepts, and Studio Butch identity in cohesive visuals.

  • Manage and organize project files, assets, and design files for easy access and sharing.

  • Work closely with our mechanical and build designers to review and approve design proofs and build drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality control.

Interior Design Assistant

At Restoration Hardware I worked in tandem with Interior Design teams to draft interior spaces into design plans and work over the course of many weeks with clients to design their home in detail. Our work represented the RH lifestyle brand and as such was maintained to strong quality standards that are expected of the brand.  In the role I made heavy use of AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative suite daily to create high quality drafted plans and presentations for clients.

Product Designer

The Good Mod is a design/build house in Portland, Ore that creates contemporary furniture, lighting, and sculptures supported by 3D printing, CAD software, CNC routing, and digital fabrication.

I worked individually to design, render, draft and construct pieces for clients seeking custom products. I worked mostly in design/fabrication, using CAD and other devices such as a CNC, Laser Cutter, and 3D Printer while utilizing a full shop with applicable tools as well. I also worked extensively using industrial finishes and application solutions for all material types.

I design using 3D CAD modeling software, Rhinoceros 3D, 3D printing, CNC routing, digital fabrication, and other aspects of rapid prototyping. Specializing in Environmental and Industrial Design. Experienced in creating and drafting construction blueprints for 3D environments, I assisted the workshop team with fabricating, finishing, and installing specially designed pieces.

Salone Satellite 2018 World Design Exhibition                                                                                                  Apr 2018

My original Slide Chair furniture design was chosen to represent the University of Oregon at one of the world’s largest design exhibitions in Milan.

17 seniors from the University of Oregon Product Design program displayed their designs at Salone del Mobile Milano 2018. At the University of Oregon, Product Design students learn thoughtful, intuitive design through means of material choice and manufacturing methods. We are taught to consider form, craftsmanship, user interaction, and aesthetic value. These projects are a compilation of senior works classified as either home goods or furniture. Each product was carefully developed to pay close attention the users it interacts with and its surrounding environment.
